Hey @TeamYouTube. Do you know why I can no longer add a private/scheduled video to a per-existing playlist while having it set as 'official playlist'?
I used to be able to do this. Now it says that I can't because the video is uploaded to a 'different channel', which is false.

That's strange, what troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? If you haven't already, try using signing out on your account, clear your browser's cache and cookies then sign back in. Let us know how it goes.

Tried that, which didn't work. The problem lies somewhere in youtube's system for 'official playlists' and how it suddenly registers private videos. If I don't tick the 'official series' box I can still add private videos. If ticked, it throws up the error.pic.twitter.com/0IfXTxWkf0

Somehow the system now thinks that a privated/scheduled video is on a different channel, thus the user can't set a playlist as official series (even though all videos were made by me).

Thanks for the info – this is working as intended. Instead of creating a series playlist, wherein you can only add your own videos, we recommend you create a regular playlist. More info here: https://yt.be/help/Lces https://yt.be/help/mc9P

If it is working as intended now... Then why have I been capable of doing this for the past 4 years? All the videos I try to add to the playlist 'are mine'. I'm NOT using videos from other channels. The system now all of a sudden thinks a private video ON MY CHANNEL, isn't mine?

My account is verified, videos only appear in a single dedicated playlist (no appearances in a different playlist of mine), and the videos added are all uploaded 'by me'.

The image I previously provided was for a (currently) private playlist with 17 (private) videos of my own. The same happens however with a public playlist with 7 public videos (and a few private/scheduled videos). All of a sudden I can no longer save these as 'official series'.

Thanks for sharing the info – if you have uploaded the videos, make sure that the videos are not existing to other series playlists. If you're looking for more info, this should help: https://yt.be/help/Lces . Hope this helps clarify!

Having a real person possibly look into this might help, since I fear the bot might not understand the problem. See my previous response: "Videos only appear in a single dedicated playlist (no appearances in a different playlist of mine) and the videos added are all mine."
