Whats the landscape of programs like this? As signal to shift transport economics in decarbonized direction One way is choose slower option Another is to treat as offset for consortium working to reduce transport emissions in variety ways— eg expose data, r&d/ops for long haul..

In this case I mean as end customer
We’re thinking about labeling shipping options at checkout to indicate which ones are more environmentally friendly. Consumers are all about free & fast shipping, showing which ones are more carbon efficient could be a way to get people to opt into slower options

Great idea, but even in the comments someone saying they are ‘thinking about’ it is a microcosm of that industry IMO. Good intentions from individuals rarely/never implemented at scale. Would love to see an example that proves my point wrong.
