#HerbSimon and the early days of Twitter. (Self confidently) sending ideas out into the world, across disciplines, and seeing who responds. This group ultimately becomes your very own "invisible college"pic.twitter.com/rYicbpkRuF

I found a few other teachers & students w a vague sense of the [cybernetic] zeitgeist. This invisible college operated w efficiency, news of new yet scattered contributions spread rapidly Same for contributions (^Simon in Models) as for half thoughts en route (Bateson in Steps)?pic.twitter.com/oXyuNuvMdo

I have loved the term “invisible college” since reading this post. https://the-composition.com/the-origins-of-opera-and-the-future-of-programming-bcdaf8fbe960 … (cc: @Altimor)

Like the “invisible college”. I added you to my “RMU” list. I started that list as a way to follow people much smarter than myself, so that I might learn from them. The original group was recommended by @webdevMason and @rivatez , so I called it “Riva Mason University” - or RMU.

That is quite the list! And high-fives for reconjuring invisible colleges
