3. Artifact Evaluation is possible even if artifacts are not public; authors just shared them privately with AE reviewers. 4. Artifact Evaluation made the papers better; honest mistakes found during the AE evaluation were fixed in the camera-ready version.

5. Despite the short time frame from decisions about papers to the camera-ready deadline, 11/38 SOSP papers got all three badges, and 22/38 SOSP papers at least one badge :) This was only possible due to a lot of work on the part of both the AE reviewers and the authors!

6. Finally, throughout the AE process, authors and reviewers could engage in anonymous conversation through HotCRP. The conversation was polite and constructive, and helped reduce misunderstandings quickly.
