“Table” is fun if your team contains USians and Brits, because naturally the meanings are literally opposite

Good point. Only in US does it mean to bump or postpone. In the rest of the English speaking world it means to slate the subject for consideration.

I like this one! It’s very helpful. My team says “let’s take this offline”. I teach all new employees this is exactly what that means and to say it in standup if anyone initiates a discussion that lasts more than 30s.
