I even felt pretty good about it. "I could use iCloud for work stuff now". This is all my fault and now I have to rewrite everything again.
Just lost 1.5k words I had prepared for tomorrow because I wanted to try iCloud sync instead of Dropbox this week. NEVER. AGAIN.

...an SQLite file extracted from an iTunes backup. The app thankfully keeps soft-deletes still available in the db. I used iExplorer.

Still not sure how that happened. Might have been iCloud *or* something else. I should have known better and have a second backup, though.

Still, it ended well. But I am going to keep backup copies of everything in Dropbox, as I used to do before.

And FWIW, as I've written before, iCloud Photo Library and Notes have been rock solid for me so far, so that was strange.
