Is App Review's plan to backtrack iOS 8 all the way to iOS 7? Are they upset for something? How many more excuses can we come up with?
@viticci @panic @the_gadgeteur They had me remove it also, Ive been ranting about it since. Its so stupid.
@maxhasadhd Can you tell me more about this? Thank you.
@viticci Yeah, Apple contacted me in November saying that I must upload a new version within 2 weeks because of the send to iCloud function
@maxhasadhd Anything else? Mind if I use this tweet on the website? Thanks.
@viticci ya you can use it, and I’m searching for more, I ranted on a chat about it so I’m trying to find the image I had of the rejection
@maxhasadhd Got it. Did your app export user backups or downloaded files to iCloud Drive?
@viticci It allowed downloading of files and then users could select individual files to upload into iCloud Drive
@maxhasadhd Got it. Thanks again.
@viticci @drbarnard @panic It looks like the had to remove sending to other services? What? Why?
@Fahrni @viticci @drbarnard @iosengineer I'll blog it on Monday. Should be "fun"
@cabel The … what? “iCloud Drive: Please don’t put stuff in it.”
@tjw "The documents were not created in the application." But.. don't you want people to use.. iCloud Drive....
@viticci @panic @the_gadgeteur even Garage Band has a “upload to iCloud” but of course is above their rules.
@maxhasadhd @viticci @panic @the_gadgeteur @drbarnard maybe I’m missing it. This is what ios 8. Document picker.
@Scionwest its iCloud Drive, where files are stored and accessed on Macs and http://iCloud.com , files are also accessible from the
@viticci Now it really feels like someone at Apple is systematically reverting everything that got me excited at WWDC.
@mikbre Sorry, but I can’t help feeling like the way you phrased that is blaming the victim. What should these devs be doing differently?
@RickDT if anyone states that they used the appeal process, I'll stop talking about it. But, my point still stands.
@mikbre I agree devs should file appeals. If not, they’re part of the problem. My point: Apple’s haphazardness is bad for the platform.
@mikbre Yeah, tech team made some cool new features and showed great demos at WWDC. Devs developed. App Store featured. Then someone yanked.
