I had COVID in Nov 2020, recovered, and then in the beginning of January I randomly had the huge change in my sense of smell like you did. I found that no matter how many showers I took in a day, the moment I got a little sweaty I was genuinely nauseous from the smell. 1/2
Most foods, especially chicken, smelled rotted. I was lucky to not have nausea in response to the smell, but I can 100% sympathize. It's gotten way better since my second vaccine shot, but I still wonder if my sense of smell is normal or not. I can't remember what normal was. 2/2
