How many hours are you standing vs sitting during work hours? I have a standing desk and I am at 7 hours standing per day. Wondering if that is average or not great?

It took me a while to acknowledge that titles are not goals. You can be VP somewhere at 22 and an Individual Contributor SE at 52. It is so unique to each individual 💯

The obsession with quantitative goals starts from school. For some kids, it starts at home. If we focus more on the habits, and relay the goals, it builds momentum and a runway to start and continue habits for more than one goal. Habits are perpetual, goals seem short lived.

As I read the layoffs news, I wonder: Were the employees set up for success? I know its not a straightforward answer but makes me wonder how value is perceived and compared to business impact, only? #layoffs

School made me feel that opting for the arts was out of compulsion & not a choice. Either you opted for science, math or you were 'left' with the arts. This is changing slowly for the good.
