The size of the blocks will be so large that mining nodes will not be able to propagate blocks timely under the current IPv4 infrastructure, not even within a small world network with high-bandwidth.
IPv6 with multicast addressing and jumbo packets will be necessary.

When the river is running drink deeply. This shows how broke the economic model in BTC is. If price were to increase slowly over time based on Use Case and the blocksize is elastic we would see a more stable outcome. People can take these kind of hits only so many times.
