I am super excited to announce that I'll start as an Asst Prof in Neurology at UCSF in summer 2020. This has been my dream job. I’m so thrilled to be part of such a stellar environment and to be surrounded by such great colleagues! No one’s more excited than my daughter (1/4)

1/n Motor cortex controls the arm by sending neural activity patterns to the spinal cord and brainstem. But how are these patterns generated? We study this question in our new paper in , with J-Z Guo, J Cohen, M Mischiati, , et al.

There’s a simple way to fight familiarity bias. When you read a good paper with an author you don’t know, especially if they’re junior, take a minute to look them up, get to know their work, cite them, and keep them in mind for events you organize. In short, remember the name!
