Really thinking about Mafia and Avengers for $15, what's the verdict? Interested in the Avengers solo campaign not so much the end game game-as-a-service grind

Checked out Avengers from my library. Thought the solo was grindy. Story was interesting, but every level seemed more of the same. And I like beat em ups and Ultimate Alliance. $15 was my buy price, but I’ve got too much of a backlog.
