Don't read this as an "in the moment" type apology. That's a copout. I was being a dick, knowingly.

To be FULLY honest in all of this, even if it cheapens the whole apology, I do still think the idea of it being called "budget" is funny compared to calling it "base". My whole mind is simply fixated on some comedy in that distinction. Not an excuse to be a dick though.

I'll clear this up 1. I do not at all think phobs are overpriced 2. I get people price things differently it's the way things are, I'm no fool 3. The TWITTER portion of my tirade here was continuing to have a laugh at the budget term in the title. Absolutely not the price.

Then, I doubled, and tripled down on em. In the moment I was having a grand ol time having a laugh. Definitely an asshole thing to do. I apologize. A bad look on me.

Whether or not I thought I was right, they're someone in the community working to build shit for our community. I'll be nakedly honest here: I didn't know they were part of the community and the asshole part of my brain figured I'd have a laugh.

I saw a post about a phob that cost a lot of money. In the moment, I found the price to marketing title really wrong. Instead of saying so nicely and talking to them, I called them way the fuck out in a pretty rude (read: rude) way

Just to make things abundantly clear to people: i think controllers are priced appropriately. They are worth this much. I am just laughing at calling a $350cad controller a "budget" option. Maybe I'm not the target market even though i own two at this price
