Something like this has happened every 100 years for the past few centuries. 1720: bubonic plague, 1820: cholera outabreak, 1920: Spanish Flu, and now 2020: COVID-19 Swine flu in 2009 was not as bad since we knew how to cure and contain H1N1 from 1920.
I’m getting annoyed by the notifications of healthy athletes being announced as having tested positive for the virus- but on the plus side, it puts everyone on alert of how badly we are prepared for a grand crisis of this kind. I live with my 78yr old mother so I am cautious.

It is annoying how many "healthy" celebrities are getting it and it's being treated like they're going to die from it. Most of these people (Idris Elba, NBA players, etc.) will recover 100%. Elderly and Immunodeficient are the ones we need to be extremely cautious around.

Test the healthiest of those and least likely to be effected among us
Meanwhile.. test kits are scarce...
Not a lot about this is known.. the data is still coming in.. but it has the capacity to overwhelm our medical facilities/staff as elsewhere...
