.@Mastercard has just advised me that it has confirmed the presence of illegal material on Pornhub, so it is immediately ending Mastercard use on Pornhub. It will also address the issue on other websites. This wouldn't have happened without survivors bravely speaking up.

I'd like you to take a moment and think of all the legitimate performers earning a living on those platforms. And how this will absolutely crush them. This will ruin lives.

your argument is puerile. it's like complaining about closing down sweatshops and how that affects the cashiers at retail stores.. the legitimate performers should and need to put pressure on the non-legitimate systems.. what's happening is WAY past time..

Its more like banning the use of US currency in a grocery store to stop people from buying alcohol. You cant buy the alc, but you also cant buy the milk

exactly.. so now the store can't make money and needs to change. and unfortunately that's where we're at. everybody involved had plenty of time to do the moral thing, but they didn't. and that includes the credit card companies.

There are tens of thousands of active content creators on ph. Hundreds of thousands once the domino effect takes place all over. FB received 84 million reports of sexual abuse, ph was 118. Understand that this attack is on sw'ers. Not trafficking.

Millions of legitimate digital sw'ers will lose a main source of income. Potentially forcing them into the streets, where trafficking will increase, abuse will increase, death and disease will increase. And they will not be inclined to report this out of fear of jail time.

firstly, in 2 tweets you jumped from thousands to millions.. i don't like that. :} secondly, the sw'ers could put some pressure on the websites they work with. the digital sw'ers have a multitude of options, and ALSO the option to demand change.

You're right. I did, because people wold wide will be affected. And when it cascades to multiple platforms. This is the number you'll see. And, sw'ers have been calling for verified only accounts for the longest time. Because they want to protect what they do.
