    I subscribe to this idea, or rather, buy it one-off. Imagine if all magazines and newspapers did it! It’d be like stopping at a newsstand and pick whatever you want to read

    I am seriously begging local papers to come up with a way for me to pay you a one time $1 fee to read an article vs subscribing. I want to read and support you! But I don't live in Nebraska or Colorado or Missouri and cannot afford to subscribe to every paper in America.

    First time I notice the number of “storm days” and “hurricane days” forecast. Useful to plan ahead for X days of disruption and potential evacuation this season, even without knowing for certain if your area will be hit
