Do you realize it is a 130 BILLION DOLLAR business? See, your neighborhood Walgreens is in fact owned by the Walgreens company, it’s not the Mom and Pop you may think it is.

Theft is shrink. It goes against profit and bonus for employees. Once the numbers become unmanageable, the store closes, People lose jobs, The neighborhood loses occupancy, And becomes another statistic of Democrats in charge. Wake up!

Everything you just asserted is theory

Um, no..it's an explanation given by both stores & govt officials.? "Unable to justify profit crushing theft, stores are closing. '17 Walgreens over last 5 years, almost every Gap retail outlet is gone, CVS is under assault,' said SF Sprvsr Ahsha Safai" https://abc7news.com/san-francisco-walgreens-theft-caught-on-camera-hayes-valley/10791347/ …pic.twitter.com/fZ50rTMjz5

Yeah, it’s TOTALLY “shoplifting” that’s making them close /shttps://www.chicagotribune.com/business/ct-biz-walgreens-ceo-salary-bonus-20210201-6vjmzj5mdneireu42pwk4yglhm-story.html …

These conditions are in no way incompatible. You've linked an article about the company & chain on NATIONAL, not local, level. Did you find refutation of reason given by the govt official for local San Francisco store closures, which I linked to, or another local situation..?

What the fuck are you talking about?? The stores are all owned and payed for by the same multi-billion dollar company. Those 17 stores were already planned to close and they probably just used “shoplifting” as a scapegoat. Why believe anything these thieving corporations claim?pic.twitter.com/yS5i0uzXDY

"The fuck I'm talking about" is, Everything bad you're saying about corporations can be 100% true, & stores can ALSO still be closing due to rampant shoplifting (cartels take advantage, not just "the poor"). Evil corp still like money. Loss of merchandise, loss of store.

Then blame the corporations and the broken system that puts profits over people that leads to this point of people being poor enough to need to steal. Not the people who are poor.

...I'm specifically NOT blaming people who are poor. I'm pointing out the organized shoplifting problem. Blaming huge volume of theft happening on "people who are poor" unfairly blames them for theft rings chasing stores out of neighborhoods. Do you??https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2020/10/06/major-san-francisco-bay-area-retail-theft-ring-busted-five-suspects-arrested-8-million-in-stolen-merchandise-recovered/ …
