The impact of that law on SWers was terrible.
The impact to the whole US internet was also pretty bad, but I don't want to compare the two. -
It makes me *so angry* that most people, especially in tech, haven't heard of FOSTA/SESTA

I opened a hosting company when SESTA/FOSTA went down in case people got kicked off their servers. Guess what? It happened. We lost our ad sites, we lost our websites, we lost the ability to run our business like what it is - a business. I pay taxes too.
