The last bullet feels off. Since the Poincare ball model is conformal, it preserves angles everywhere. For example, angles don’t change towards the boundary in your translating cube below. Maybe the claim is about interior angles of polygons as their size increases (?)
Yup sorry! I guess what I mean is that it’s smaller than what you would expect in euclidean space
