I’ll try. Start with a map from from euclidean space to the 3-sphere (embedded in 4d space). Now each point has four coordinates, treat them as a pair of complex numbers, call them x and y.

Apply the function y^2 - x^3, which gives a single complex number. Take the inverse map from some set of complex numbers, which give you the fibers. Hope that helps!
