I really dislike strength training. It’s the one form of exercise I never, ever, look forward to. Wish there was a substitute that I could find at least a little addictive, like running or a racquet sport.

I feel weaker since I stopped for a couple of years and am thinking of going back. Steady paddling in quiet water is maybe pure cardio. In rough water you're doing a lot of sudden hard pulls in all directions.
