I really dislike strength training. It’s the one form of exercise I never, ever, look forward to. Wish there was a substitute that I could find at least a little addictive, like running or a racquet sport.

Proper CrossFit seems obsessed with pushing personal bests at the cost of long-term health. My gym is obsessed with sustainability and form and safety and it’s awesome.

When I said I was doing CrossFit a ton of people told me I was going to die based on personal horror stories. The gym owner says it only got that bad when the CrossFit games happened and people started gamifying it
