Been idly compiling a “billionaire political ideologies” dossier (Koch, Soros, Mercer, Thiel...) Starting to think billionaire-vs-billionaire is not the best way for a society to do its political thinking How do you advance political thought without billionaire $ fueling it?

Capable and competent public institutions decentered from ideologues, at local/regional level. Risk is sclerosis and some abuse that can be overcome by well thought out outcome architecture.

There are always ideologues in ideology. And that’s a good thing. The problem is money piles behind them. If Koch and Soros ideologies competed in an open arena of ideologies rather than for bandwidth with $ that would be healthier.
