Why do you see the two as mutually exclusive? With fu-money you no longer get distracted by work from working, rather than be forced into a supervacation.

I would say about 3 to 4 weeks. I have a ton of freedom now to take time off. My non active hobbies are mostly reading, which inspire me to create, which makes me antsy to create. I don't think I could go too long reading things without wanting to create or work on things.

-1 The idea of just “being there” and not constantly pushing forward scares me. I’ve known up close how slowing down for leisure can quickly change to stagnation, so personally my mind would be on “the next thing” when I see the current one coming to a close.
