owning "means of production" is one element of a different mindset, a different way to think about time, value and trading. Is that the key?

No, the entire premise that owning means of production is key is flawed. Darwinian economic competition has no fixed locus. Advantage accrues to whoever controls the bottleneck scarce resource, and there always exists such a bottleneck.
There is no arrival into “postcapitalism”

interesting how characterizing something as scarce is a better way of saying it's differentiated and there is demand

Demand makes it sound too normal, like there’s a possibility of substitution effects or non-consumption. Scarcity is stronger than that. A drought is not demand for water, it’s a game-ender
Perhaps “inelastic demand that serves as system constraint boundary/forcing function”

Is "liquidity + high risk preference" a scarce resource in this / your view? The answer to that defines the point of agreement I'd like to extract out of "anticapitalist"
1
Yes. It defines meaning-makers. The Insufficient Supply of Elon Musks problem, fueling emergence of personality cult capitalism (a good thing imo)

scarcity seems to be key to make it possible to capture the value that is being created
The point of capitalism is to incentivize getting around bottleneck scarce resources
