I think the brain actually has 3 Kahnemannian decision systems, not 2.
Sys 1: thin-slice, quick, subconscious, pre-rational real-time
Sys 2: rational, slow, conscious, non-real-time
Sys 3: slow-aging, post-rational, narrative, integrating online/offline, conscious/subconscious

There you are wrong. Plenty of solid neuroscience emerging that reveal a good deal of deep, evolved structure to the brain that maps to decision-making modes.

Kahneman writes in his book “The world makes less sense than you think. The coherence comes mostly from the way your mind works.” implicitly saying Sys 2 takes care of coherence (‘narrative’). What evidence is there that there is something else in play (esp. neurologically)?

Says 3 is really Sys 1 reused on a different time scale of chronic rather than acute stress.

You're living it... doing work connected to deep time.
Now just put GPS collars on your cows and get someone to build an app so you can see them on a map.

I hear you, but I think such criticisms are misguided. They bring physics-theory type criticism to what is essentially a more narrative type model of neuro phenomena. It's not the *type* of theory that can be "debunked."
