Are there any political ideologies focused on the transient structure of revolutions as opposed to before/after conditions? Seems like even anarchists generally focus on steady-state conditions (equilibrium or secular continuous change) Ie are there step-function ideologies?

not sure what you mean then. an election is a controlled revolution, no? I suppose Marxism-Leninism has a kind of step function idea about phases of revolution. Dictatorship of the Proletariat -> Rule by Worker's Committee -> Dissolution of the State (sick joke in retrospect)

I think revolutionary governance ideologies need a strong theory of chaotic dynamics starting with a view on active war-like things
