These days I feel vaguely guilty and disconnected if I read a book. Like I’m playing hookey from reality.
Responsible people put Twitter first and don’t let books derail attention. But sometimes a book will distract me for hours and then it’s a struggle to regain twitter focus.

As a longtime lover of reading, I'm gradually beginning to consider books an outdated concept.

personally I think every tweeter has an obligation to step away from the village square, go out and hunt down something interesting, then drag back the data-and-insight carcass for the rest of us to feast on

Sad state of affairs.. Hope you can get back to Twitter with undivided attention. Those books can be such a nuisance!
