I think maybe one that is widespread... Racism. The right thinks it no longer exists and many in the left think that it is on the wane.... I believe both are wrong. Yes I combined two beliefs but for one problem.

I think most respondents (myself included) focused on the "refusing to face" clause rather than the "most in denial about" clause. In general though, people in denial don't see that they are, so the polarization here is expected. What you see is what the other half denies.
