I stop trusting my own thinking the moment I find myself using primarily intellectual orientation landmarks like ‘Straussian’ or ‘Hegelian’ or ‘Deleuzean’. Map-territory fallacies start at that point. So I like to always keep idea lighthouses subservient to phenomenology.
