I think it's still grassroots, working within your community to increase ... infodiversity? Also figuring out rhetoric for busting conspiracy-oriented thinking, bad logic, etc. A lot of it is also messaging and breaking down emotionally-backed reasoning processes.

No I don’t think so. The exposure is precisely on fronts where that’s weak. Unless you have your own CO2 stations on Mauna Kea and climate satellites, local info diversity won’t help you get independent facts about climate change

It isn’t surprising for instance that Trump budget for NASA is overall up (it’s a crowd pleaser) but funding for climate monitoring instruments *already* in orbit is being targeted for cuts. Give ‘em lunar bread and circuses. Cut data about earth.
