There is such a thing as being too practical. It really doesn’t take much practicality to get by, and the consequences of minor impracticality in your habits are generally not too serious

I'm confused by this tweet. Imagination is practical. They are not opposites to tradeoff.

And contribution is not achieved by being super practical. It is about trying new things, taking risks, embracing big/catastrophic failure at times and getting back up with the resolve to do it again and do it better and perhaps differently. Be not boring
