If inequality came down, left extremism and SJWism would likely dissipate naturally. It feels 90% like misdirected economic anger. Harder to see what might drive right extremism down since it appears to be rooted in identity loss rather than economics.
An aha moment for me like I said was learning the trump voter demographic was *not* primarily poor blue-collar laid off types but well-off low-diversity neighborhoods. IIRC they were in fact slightly richer than average GOP voter.

I only have personal experience with a couple brackets (40-55 lower-middle dads, 18-30 right identitarian part-timers). It's definitely a mix, but older bracket skews toward "they took er jerbs" and younger tends to skew toward "free speech on campuses".
