If inequality came down, left extremism and SJWism would likely dissipate naturally. It feels 90% like misdirected economic anger. Harder to see what might drive right extremism down since it appears to be rooted in identity loss rather than economics.

What do you mean by SJWism? I’ve yet to see a definition clearer than „things wot I don’t agree with“ or some sort of vague handwaving - would be curious for a solid definition

Authoritarian left political activists vying for institutional control in academia and media, primarily focusing on gaining control of key processes such as hiring, tenure, and media narrative tone using social justice causes as casus belli. I think they are well-defined.

Ok, that’s pretty clear. If it feels like „misdirected economic anger“ do you mean that these activists are angry for their own economic status, or on behalf of others? (And can the same be said of rightism?)
