What bird is this? I've been assuming they're coots. The muck around in puget sound in the winter months, mostly in flocks of 15-20

"These are two different ducks. The one closer to the bottom of the photo is a bufflehead. The one closer to the top I’ve only seen once, but, after consulting my bird guide, I’m virtually certain it’s a Barrow’s goldeneye, a bird you’ll only find on Puget Sound in the winter."
