A middle-class trait I can’t shake off is slight guilt about playing with no-practical-value ideas during “work hours”, like reading a philosophy book 9-5 on a weekday. Feels like playing hooky. One reason I blog is to manufacture practical justification. “It’s for a post”

I agree it’s totally ironic. I’ve under earned by $1M the last 5 yrs because I’ve chosen free time and startups over Wall St or Big Tech jobs. I’m on my 4th startup. But most people refuse to suffer uncertainty. So I propose a way to suffer less from certainty
