Yawn. I've met a lot more boorish rich people than poor people. In fact in capitalism, money seems to select for assholes.

This is likely partially a product of the idea that those who have outrageous amounts of money have done despicable and exploitative things to get there. Plus the (possibly true) idea that power corrupts. People want the power of $$$ but none of the negative associations
