I hate this kind of bs normalization. If the only way you can see others as human is “personal interaction” you have no business being in charge of economic/military capabilities that can kill anonymous masses at a distance.

I think Bush 2 was in fact capable of spooky seeing-humanity at a distance. He wasn’t too bright and perhaps too malleable, but he wasn’t a true asshole
