Many good things in my life have been due to being too lazy to make active decisions and letting defaults ride. The better part of strategy is knowing when to do nothing. 9/10 times, the strategic and lazy choices are the same. Get the 1/10 right though.

That’s an interesting thought. Bureaucracy is adaptive because it hobbles the organization’s ability to make harmful decisions.

...by hobbling the ability to make *all* decisions, which works 90% of the time when doing nothing is the right call. The other 10% is suicide by bureaucracy
