On the bright side, you're at your most likely to succeed in starting a business at 47, and creative hobbies are a lot more enjoyable than trying to make it a profession. Also, if you don't have kids, maintenance work never has to be particularly time-intensive.

Admin/paperwork stuff is only like 20%. About 80% is just the physical health, relationships health, etc. Takes 10x effort to maintain same level of fitness and health for example.

What are some things that fall into maintenance work category?

Seems like most items I can think of I can pretty easily pay someone to do. Just need to break out of Midwest pathology of doing it all alone and be willing to hire a housekeeper, etc.
