The Arizona shooting-by-cop video is the worst I've seen so far. There is no blurriness or ambiguity. It's a steady continuous shot covering the whole scene. I don't know police procedure but it seemed like the cop was deliberately trying to create a reason to shoot.
He sounded on edge definitely. Is there an obvious reason he made them crawl in that weird kneeling position?

Yeah, local policy differs, but in general you order someone to put themselves into a position they can't physically threaten you from, then you restrain them. In this case the officers didn't want to go to him cuz it would have meant they got closer to the door.

However, there were options. They could have told him to turn around to see his entire waistband. They could have corrected him when he started crawling on his hands. They could have explained why he shouldn't put his hands behind his back after he made the first mistake.
