Pretty sure there's no one out there saying it's "not ok" to be white. Lots of people out there saying it's not ok to be a shitty person, and white people seem to hold a corner market on that demographic the past few (hundred (thousand(s of))) years.

What isn't a 4chan or some other troll campaign these days. It still finds a sincere 2nd-order audience. "Brogrammer" was a FB internal joke once. Re novelty, the Terry Brockman anecdote was a new angle for me. "When people stop being scared of you" must be a strange feeling

Frickin' new Twitter/Tweetdeck formatting. I didn't see the link, just the image. I get the "people stop being scared of you" narrative, but that's just a part of the piece. Overall about the "movement" and ridiculousness. Long before Jamestown, it's been "ok" to be white.
