I think it is uncertainty which leads to unmotivation, procrastination its difficult to understand why we do what we do without a context

Am familiar with his work! :-) Lots of good stuff. One of my favs is an old Tempo blogpost about how to think about solving complex problems:http://www.tempobook.com/2013/05/21/schleps-puzzles-and-packages-solving-complex-problems-the-iron-man-way/ …

Heh that's one of my posts that I think very few people know about or appreciate but I think was really on to something. Glad at least 1 person took note :) It isn't very polished, and kinda lazily put together. Maybe I'll do-over on ribbonfarm.

I thought about it really long & hard & repeatedly. Made me realize that I was sorely lacking a body of 'schlep' work (was obsessed with clever puzzles and packages). Motivated me to focus on building a body of work. In a way, a pretty life-changing trigger/catalyst

It was good for me to revisit just now. I've kinda lost the puzzle piece lately, while the schlep and package are continuing with flagging momentum. The puzzle supplies the elan vital (see discussion going on on my FB wall)
