I feel like there have to be *some* worthwhile narratives focused on protagonists overcoming ideological egalitarianism for some sort of great glory (that's more literary than Rand). Maybe I need to unpack/expand my query more.

Or possibly the absence of good narratives in that vein is a sign that it's as weak an ideology as the one it's a reaction to. Not quite fiction but Nietzsche's Zarathustra has shades of what you're looking for
