We're entering Vietnam of gender wars. Men will continue losing while biological-determinism ideology limits our ability to reimagine relationships with women in win-win ways that cedes *relative* political agency to bank absolute gains for all, without seeing it as emasculation.

Equating feminism the long-evolving broad-based global political effort with a current, faddish, western-white-campus-politics autocratic powerplay seems both narrow and missing the point. Half my reference frame is Indian for instance, where it is a much more severe concern

I fully admit to not knowing jack about contemporary gender relations in India. However you can’t bypass feminist PC/PoMo/inter activists as they really exist in the West and argue for a political agenda.

My point is that treating them as the sum of "feminism" is like treating Trump as the sum of "conservatism" or Donna Brazile as the essence of "progressivism". I prefer to consider the strongest, broadest, most defensible version of an idea
