Not sure why one would want to, but it seems part of the job for certain corporate types
tons of people in the UX-o-sphere do this; looks like selling shovels in a gold rush to me.

Do they ever manage to sell anything to anyone though? Especially UX people? They all seem to be struggling.

In every sector, not just tech... It's a bizarre culture, and in some sectors there are employees whose lives are spent attending same.
