Agreed. Tennis has a lot of fun iterative game theory if players' skill levels allow. I've heard Brazilian Jiu Jitsu also good.

Probably descending the wrong way down a mountain, accidentally having to cross a small glacier, and managing not to die.

Actually, I'd also add slow-technical downhill mountain biking and maybe rock climbing, but hard to separate intellectual vs intuitive focus
