My rule (as much as possible): “Saturdays are for the soul.” Need that deep refresh/restart to be able to attack the rest of the week well.

Same. I take Saturdays off. But I still wake up at 7. Go to yoga for an hour or two, make a phat breakfast, and socialize. Great reset.

Though a few weeks ago, I put in about two hours at a coffee shop after breakfast. Creative, non-abstract (like software dev) video editing.
