I've been surprised at no mention of paid publication memberships. Seamless billing + u get their email addresses. I guess it's in beta

but that's also not great for them. W/ emails and my own domain I have nothing keeping me there

this is a broader problem as we need to rethink many legacy institutions beyond media in the digital age. Schools, city planning etc
