There's a reason blogging seems harder to break into in 2016 even though tech is far better than in 2007: it is no longer a pristine medium

In 2007, blogging was like homesteading. You had a patch of untamed land, you did whatever. "Ribbonfarm" is named for this condition.

In 2016, we are no longer in pristine state formation times, but competitive state formation times. You have to disrupt existing blogosphere

The reason aggregation things like Medium with promises of "readymade distribution" (😂😂😂) exist is failure to innovate stylistically
